   Well, this is a first... I ordered a cheap Zigbee remote. I needed some buttons to make my life better and less frustrating.
   LoraTap reached out to me. They don't want to send it cause I don't own one of their hubs.
   I was already sick of Zigbee device sellers insisting their shit can't work without their specific branded Zigbee hub, but this is a new level.

   I have tons of shit that "will not work with other hubs" from Ikea, to Aquora, to whatever was cheapest on ebay. All fine.

     The majority of them work straight out the box, no blueprint nothin.

     Ikea buttons need blueprints, but their bulbs work straight away as do the motion sensors. Aquara took a couple pairing attempts, and worked without issue. Ikea "needs our hub" bulbs are my favorite bulbs due to how easily they pair and work without their hub.

     "Tuya only!" Zigbee sensors all over the house - all paired with no struggle.

     LoreTap better give me my fucking buttons, and since they went out of their way to cbtact me directly to insist I.need their shitty hub, I will be sending them screenshots of it paired n Home Assistant. Maybe I'll screen record the entire pairing process to send them, out of spite.

     @icedquinn I've had good.results with Zigbee... Except when something drowns out my zigbee network.
     But that's only happened twice in the past... 4 years maybe.
     But Zigbee sellers just flat out lie and many companies think demanding I spend $40 to $120 on their specific hub will bring me over. No, dude, your button ain't THAT cool.
     They'd sell more id they cooperated. Nobody is going to have a couple dozen different hubs.

     @fishidwardrobe They're basing it on my purchsse history. If I bought one elsewhere, they want a picture of their hub to confirm.
