@dos @mjdxp @lkundrak Alpine is BusyBox/Linux - although it is true that Alpine is a GNU clone and the typical use case is installing GNU to make GNU/Linux. -

@mjdxp @lkundrak Except when it doesn't. Try talking about mobile stuff, you'll get both "ackchyually Alpine isn't GNU" and "but Android is Linux!!1" jerks in your replies. Since Alpine is very much modeled like GNU, and Android is very much not, in my experience it's much clearer to default to "GNU/Linux" as a term to refer to the OS even if not strictly technically correct in all instances. I prefer to be communicative rather than pedantic 😜
