If you have never used whole cumin seed and ground it fresh in a mortar and pestle you are in for a real treat. It’s an entirely different spice than musty store-bought ground cumin. It’s bright and citrusy and just so amazing.
Example usage: put it with salt on some boiled potatoes with butter or olive oil and lemon juice and you will thank me. Or use a recipe if you must.
