I don't see much difference between them, but readability is important. I have a Catholic Study Bible too, which is pretty great since it's not on my phone.

     @BowsacNoodle @BionicNigga @TrevorGoodchild @Shadowman311 @Dubbub It shows it's age but it's fine for people who like the simpler English. I wouldn't use it for sermon prep but for reading in private it's good.
     
     I personally favour the ESV or the old NRSV for sermon prep and Bible studies and the NIV for the Divine Service. My church body only gives me so many translations to choose from for use in the service and I'm not touching the NLT.

     @Crux_Invictus @BionicNigga @TrevorGoodchild @Shadowman311 @Dubbub I used to use NRSV, but I can't remember why I switched. I just use Bible Hub at this point and default it on NKJV because it's so readable. Nice to know even the pros pull from different versions 😀
