     Unfortunately for me i've been nearly 8 months without doing anything because work. Now i got a couple of months to do stuff and i want to get some meaningful improvements. Like how i more or less improved my shading technique using qtips (they are amazing).
     
     But what you say about comms drying up because of the economy is worrying and really depressing. I kinda wish i could peddle my shit for some change but knowing that stuff is going this bad is extremely demoralizing.

     every artist (including me) is basically in debt to some degree at this point if your doing it full time, and I've lost multiple clients to AI art. It's not getting easier any time soon tbh.
     
     I'd just improve and not think about doing it commercially, or if you do just use Patreon and paywall that shit, that's been the only consistent earner

     Same. Hell i would like a challenge by itself and that's why i did some shitty drawings to ruin them doing coloring practise next week.

     my line art from back in october has massively improved, same with shading and coloring and background work. But thanks to this dogshit economy I'm getting less clients than I did a year ago, and a year before that. Makes no sense.
