   I know the polite term for bathroom is powder room, but whenever I need to go to the restroom, I say I need to go to the panic room because that's what I do in there and pretty much everywhere else.

     @Alice I don't go to a restroom to rest, and many bathrooms don't even have a bath.
     No idea what the fuck "loo" is all about.
     Water closet makes sense.

     @hellomiakoda @Alice meanwhile in Romanian they're often called "W.C." (pronounced something like "veh che") from "water closet" in English, but it's considered an impolite term, and kinda so is "baie" (bath, bathroom), or at least it's a very casual term for it, so you're supposed to call it "toaletă" (toilet) in polite company
