   @restful @professortom I’m by no means saying it’s all women on OF (although I personally think you need some degree of trauma — not necessarily abuse-related — to voluntarily do that sort of thing). This particular case, the gleeful way that the parents enable it (and, I would expect, take a cut from it) indicates a darker situation.

     @Flick @professortom The parents are definitely not looking out for the wellbeing of their children. That's prima faecie abuse when it extends back to childhood, irrespective of physical abuse. The popularity of onlyfans among women makes me hope that it's not a case of abuse in all cases. That would be a lot of abuse.

     @restful @professortom Women with more experience than I have in the area (but whose judgement I trust) think there are indications (body language, stunted emotional development) that this is a continuation of childhood abuse by the parents.
