   the biggest inaccuracy with autistic representation in tv/movies isn’t the portrayal of autism as a superpower, or even the “flat affect and asshole to everyone around them” stereotype.

   it’s that autistic characters are always portrayed as having a cohort of fiercely loyal, endlessly supportive neurotypical friends.

     Confession: I almost became a cop - I got a 4-year degree in law enforcement & forensic sciences.

     I wanted to work my way into IA & hunt bad cops, but I fucked up my knee instead. I'm glad I didn't become a cop.
