Paging @SuperSnekFriend @SuperLutheran @BowsacNoodle:
A sibling of mine just told me he'll be going to a conference this summer marketed as being for Christian writers of speculative fiction. It's called the Realm Maker's Conference & Expo, and, from what I can tell, it seems to be associated with a publisher called Enclave. Does any of you know anything about these organizations? They seem too good to be true, and I wonder if they're wolves in sheep's clothing. I'm looking into the conference and there's some podcast called Voices for Voices saying some seedy things have happened at the conferences.-

@Myles is good with these questions, because he is in the sci-fi/fantasy circuit. I have never heard of this until you told me just now, so I cannot help you.BowserNoodle ☦️ likes this. -

@lykanthrocide @BowsacNoodle @SuperLutheran @SuperSnekFriend Best case scenario, they're poaching young talent to force them into bad contracts. Odds are, they're trying to sell "courses". The Christian entertainment industry is a den of vipers BowserNoodle ☦️ likes this.
