     @mangeurdenuage wasn't there recently a security issue with /e/ OS that was not found out for a long time? I think the small alternative things are prone to be dangerous

     Small alternative things also barely ever get targeted. Is there anyone willing to exploit vulnerabilities in Microsoft's old Edge — I'm sure there's plenty, but no one cares anymore. With Android-based systems it might be a bit different, but actually achieving something through exploiting that vulnerability would still require preparation and when the userbase is just a few tends of thousands worldwide — still not worth it 🤷
     It might still make sense to worry about such things in case with routers and other equipment accessible from the Internet as you can find them mass-scanning the address, but with phones — not so much!

     @kaia @realcaseyrollins have you tried the Priv ?

     "Best of both world" with physical keys that slide inside and have capacitive touch controls as a bonus of the physical clicks

     (I had it for a long time and its a biggest drawback is it can only be comfortable in big hands / fingers)
