     But nobody has a right to anybody else's labor, such "right" is the ideological foundation of slavery and communism.
     
     Buuut, the UN human rights document isn't really about pointing a gun at someone and stealing the food they produce so that Nobody Starves, it's more of a feel-good guideliney document.
     
     Buuuuuut, this vote was *probably* created as a "subtweet" of Israel's treatment of Palestinians, so Israel (predictably) said "lol no" and the US (predictably) went along.

Remember madeleine Albright in the famous interview that the 90s Iraq sanctions would kill up to half a million children and she said the price of getting rid of Sadam Hussein is worth the death of 500 000 children. US is only country capable of implementing sanctions which is the reason they voted against

     You both have different definitions of the word "right".
     
     The point BL is making is that you can't claim a right TO something, which is the result of someone else's labor, otherwise you're claiming the right to their labor.

     @Sirpantangelini @cjd US has agreed to many human rights if I am not mistaken, it’s just children rights they reject and food rights because they use sanctions very much. Currently around 30 countries and regions are under sanctions
