@alex_w
After adding a message to your favourites, could you check that it is in the list of your favourites inside the app?Main menu>Interactions>Favourites
@echopapa
If you enabled remote conversations by default (or remote profiles) or viewing a followed instance, this is an edge effect.
Because, displayed messages are from remote instances and no tokens are involved. It doesn't use the API from your instance. So it is impossible to know if you already interacted with these messages (boost, fav, bookmark m...)
@alex_w
Works in this case as expected, but I see this also sometimes happening. Post was shared and favourited, but later without marks. If I boost the post again (no question to revert boosting) the shared mark often appears again without further action.
I will check in main menu when this happens again.
@deutrino
We thought about a cache to store this information.

@apps @echopapa @alex_w I think people are going to keep reporting this as a bug until we think of some way to show in the UI that the toots in question are not "fully loaded"
in other words, the icons shouldn't look normal in the case of remote fetched toots, because if they do, then users will expect them to behave normally
