   I don't understand how so many braindead people can be out there. Just look at the am I overreacting subreddit where people are asking for relationship advice like:
   
   
   - my wife is staying overnight at another man's house
   - my bf has a girl in his phone under a man's name and tells her "i love you"
   - I just caught my wife having sex with another man
   
   "am I overreacting?"
   
   are you stupid?

     @feld @thomasroiloup the best defense of reddit I can muster is that there are so many people on reddit that you will just have a lot of people with actual brain damage.

     @sun @thomasroiloup I just saw a thread the other day about Heelys (the shoes) and someone commented "oh yeah I was like a pro, I did promotional work for them and we'd go places and skate to advertise the shoes" and another dude who he worked with back then responds like "hey whats up man, been forever"
     
     so many strange incidents like that happen because reddit is so big

     @sun @thomasroiloup the stuff they did to the 3rd party API access / apps was cruel and stupid as well as refusing to recognize that it functions because a *community* was built there which self-moderates using volunteer labor
     
     why you'd piss that away is beyond me
