   You don’t choose, a decision still gets made. You can pretend you couldn’t have made a difference, but it’s not true.

     Yesterday a reply guy came in to lecture me about “corporate Dems” and wouldn’t or couldn’t answer “what is our best choice?”
     Nothing is not a choice.

     Hannah Arendt's quote about lesser evil still being evil is abused. She fought fascism but now her words are used by nonvoters to help get us fascism

     The immature sophistry, lazy apathy. Lying to themselves that they have the entitled luxury of not choosing. There is nothing noble nor moral in a nonvote, it's merely weak acceptance and capitulation

     The simple truth:

     Every vote that ever existed, and ever will exist, will be for the lesser of two or more evils

     If the other option is worse, and one is intelligent enough to see it is only one or the other, then one should aim for harm reduction

     This is cold calculation, it's not exciting. The problem. Because people are emotional

     But if one doesn't vote leading to worse for Palestinians, as is now occurring, then one's actions are self-destructive on one's own stated concern

     The manipulation of the stupid with emotional thrall, hurting oneself: nonvoters are herded morons just like MAGA
