   Instead of RTFM (Read the Fucking Manual) (manual doesn't exist or is bad or is outdated) now it is ATFAI (Ask the Fucking AI) which is just so much better, not the least of which is not having to deal with insufferable misanthropes that have been living on IRC since the 1990s.

     @sun One of the things AI would be great for is either writing documentation from source code, or outright reading source code and being able to explain how something works or what it expects or similar

     @p@fsebugoutzone.org @sun@shitposter.world Only because you don't use irc7 on Plan 9.lul maybe someday. It's a stateful context issue for me. Maybe the clients have solved it in the past decades or not. But the real time stream of it was the issue. I found it only useful if you were a turbo addict on it 100% of the time. Otherwise context was ghosts in the wind and trying dig up history was unpleasant.
     
     BBS era was kind of amazing. Surprise RAPE phone bills aside. Door games and animated ansi login screens were peak.
