   The Fediverse will (currently) never be as good as RSS because RSS feeds don't discriminate between readers.
   The feed doesn't care who's reading the information (or what naughty opinions the reader has) but much of the Fediverse operates completely differently.

     @gabriel Most fediverse servers don't discriminate against readers (e.g. you can retrieve outbox contents without signing your request). They only discriminate against writers.

     Got fixed in pleromer a couple months prior and also marked as critical bug for some reason.

     @silverpill @gabriel @mint On Pleroma yes, on Akkoma you'll have a hard time finding an instance that doesn't enforce signed fetch. Even floatingghost's instance requires it.
