An Atheist is a person that rejects your religion and notions of "God" as stories, because there isn't any proof of whatever definition of "god" you want to make up.
You want me to define "God" so you can tear it down, when in reality, you've made it all up from thin air.

Theists have always been the ones proposing that a 'God' exists—whether that's a personal deity, a creator, a supernatural intelligence, or something else. I don't have to invent a version to reject; I reject the versions already proposed. If you want to discuss whether belief in 'God' is rational or meaningful, then it's on you to define what you mean by 'God' and justify why anyone should believe it exists. Until then, atheism remains a reasonable default."

You've now defined everything that this guy can now say, "That's not MY religion."
Maybe it is or isn't, but it fails to be convincing to people that came to their faith via another path. The difference is they got the nice perfect church experience. Their personal experience was much different, ONLY BY CHANCE.
