     @cjd @icare4america Right now you have to disable it with every drive. It's a big safety issue in certain cities wherein the risk of getting carjacked is real and the tiny 0.2s delay can mean injury or death.

     @BowsacNoodle @icare4america @cjd what kind of goofy ass climate are people living in where there's more than like 3 days a year when you wouldn't want the engine running constantly so either the water pump is delivering fresh warm coolant to the heater core or cranking the AC compressor?

     It's annoying as hell, the "feature" reactivates itself everytime you start the car. you can't turn it off permanantly.

     Additionally it isn't free, it requires a more expensive battery, more expensive starter, both which wear out faster, and other stuff. Why should I have to pay for this bullshit that I hate? It's cost excedes the fuel savings.

     it should be an option.
