     @sendpaws @adiz @mischievoustomato Mitra deletes threads when original posts are deleted. Some platforms treat replies as independent objects, but we treat them as parts of a conversation managed by OP. So, when the conversation is gone, everything within it is gone too.

     @sendpaws @mischievoustomato Is that what happens with Misskey? I feel like I see different Fediverse behaviors. E.g., sometimes if OP deletes an original post, the entire thread and all replies vanish forever. And, other times, the original post will be gone but the replies will remain. 🤷 @silverpill
