jew shit, thats why. all that grunge shit was jew shit. same as rap and hiphop. they owned it and pumped it out to the masses like goyslop. thats when i retreated to cds and limewire. only new good music has been from japan since 2000s. only place the jews havent infested on earth.
yeah they kinda sucked too. that song got a lot of play on the local indi station where i lived. i didnt watch mtv at the time or else i prolly wouldve seen them slappin that on the air once an hour, too.
pretty sure she was a jew too. yer talkin bout that durty little brunette from the 90s that was all sassy and cute? she was in that one sonic youth vid. not even sure she was in the band, prolly just showed up for the vidya shoot and they were like, cute girls sell this shit... toss her in there. https://youtu.be/8JGBNkLM9_8?feature=shared
@ins0mniak@fknretardlol Its the weirdest fucking place dude hahaha it's like a hipster hellhole that tries to act like it's not. I haven't been there for a long time. (Well three years ago but that was to drop off a vacuum for ten minutes)
@Turkleton@fknretardlol Yeah my friend worked on that clipper ship that docks in Aberdeen so I went down there once to hang out when I was working in Washington.
I saw that bridge, looked like a real shitty place to hang out.
People in Olympia were just fucking weird, idk. This was like years ago tho.
any town that has a chinatown has the tong. yakuza are japs. wasnt aware japs had a big pop in vancouver but if they do, it would make sense the yakuza would be there.
@catmanmancat@ins0mniak@fknretardlol@koropokkur Kinda off topic but another thing about old stuff in American culture is how everything the mafia controlled is now legal. Porn, gambling, loans, etc etc
We need to bring the Mafia back so people can get their knees broke when they don't pay up. Nowadays they just get credit card debt, funny money because nothing is real anymore.
@ins0mniak@Turkleton@fknretardlol@koropokkur Man, Thom can be hit or miss with vocals on some songs but Johnny Greenwood is one of thee greatest guitar / keyboard minds of the last couple of decades & his use of effects pedals is copied endlessly.
@fknretardlol@ins0mniak@koropokkur@Turkleton Listen if you can't get down with: paranoid Android, subterranean homesick alien, there, there, knives out, jigsaw falling into place, lucky, electioneering, no surprises etc etc etc then there's no hope for your aural pallette.
@ins0mniak@koropokkur@fknretardlol So much great music from the 80s. Almost every genre had something if not catchy, just so damn corny it was good. I wish I could have been alive to experience it dang it.
i loved the new wave brit shit. bauhaus, smiths, echo and the bunnymen, etc. 90s had some decent techno, but not so many great bands. super furry animals and gorillaz were good, but didnt care for the band that gorillaz guy was in before at all.
Yeah There a lot of 80s stuff I dug because my parents always had it on the radio.
When I got into music as a teenager it was really because my parents got me a nice computer so I could just....wander the the net and find the interesting stuff.
That was around the time where people could really make their own stuff on the cheap and put it online.
@koropokkur@fknretardlol@Turkleton It sounds kind of dumb but I feel like I remember right when it happened, my parents took me to Las Vegas, I was sitting by the pool and they were playing like Crystal Method and everyone was vibing out to it.
I remember thinking, well at least that godawful alternative shit is finally dead.
@koropokkur@fknretardlol@ins0mniak Sonic youth was local band and they all kinda knew each other from this terrible riot girl band called sleater Kinney
