   Today in weird fediverse news: @Rib uncovered proof that the early 2000s anti piracy campaign Piracy is a Crime (which you probably know from "you wouldn't steal a car" meme) used an unauthorized knockoff of @justvanrossum's FF Confidential. Now this story is getting picked up in mainstream press like PC Gamer:

     @sun @liaizon i've never seen anyone say this, it always says 'an unauthorized clone', which sounds to me like 'they did it the legal way'.
