Karl writes a good summary. TBQH the only way I can interpret what happened is that the OSI has become dependent on corporate overlords instead of legally serving the public good as a 501(c)(3) and they rightly expected that you (Bradley) would be a monkey wrench to that status quo. So we should rightly move on from listening to anything the OSI says and make up our own definitions of "open source".
