@HonkHonkBoom@TrevorGoodchild The eurodollar thing is why we can't have cheap money, allegedly. It would just be abused by our competitors globally. The US government could subsidize domestic industrial loans (pay to reduce the interest or cover the fair market value spread), to have the home advantage. That's the sort of policy that would make sense if you're trying to boost domestic industry, but it would be full of exploitation and grift and cronyism so not really worth.
@TrevorGoodchild Money should be cheaper because ... what exactly is producing more real world value? What are the large available growth sectors where cheap money would rapidly cause a real wold return in domestic production?
Everything is expensive because of the false assumption of equality. The fact is people are not equal and there product of there work is not worth what they charge. Case in point things made in China or watch a video showing sub par construction. Companies hire cheap labor and make cheap products and try and fool people that, hey it's local or the company is based in the good old US of A but parts are assembled ect. Want quality know who does the work pretty much everything in a store is a rip off because of this fact.
