     @besserwisser I don't have any hard numbers on what it was like compared to how it is now, but I'm agreeing with you that cons are better than voice chats over the internet.

     @besserwisser One thing normalised over the COVID era was hyperchondria. People don't feel the need to be in shared spaces because technology allows them to work apart. Conferences cost money to set up and would require commuting, but would be the better thing to do.
