   When I was a kid, local kid, White, got attacked by another local "punk" (leather jacket and chain type) who was also White. Punk got stabbed and died.
   
   While kid was out on bail, punk's friends went to his house to harass him. One got stabbed by kid and died.
   
   Kid successfully defended both deaths on self-defense.

     This isn't a George Floyd case. It's more like those kids at LeBron James High that killed that boy for shooting them with an a toy gun and they killed him and made sure he died by moving his car and taking the phones away.

     They skated from what I understand about that case.

     Devils advocate here, the kid isn't a flight risk, he's not a career criminal. There isn't any witnesses for him to intimidate or evidence to destroy. He might have actually been safer in prison, that kid is too recognizable to go out in public.

     He should have stayed in jail, letting him out will make him less sympathetic to the jury.
