     @flancian "listen to detransitioners" is a talking point engineered to create the illusion of a "trans debate" as if theres equal grievances on "both sides" but this ignores the fact gender affirming surgeries have lower regret rates than life saving heart surgery

     The post that seems most problematic to me is "Telling male children who have feminine tights (sic) they must be female is what is happening and it is hurting boys. Go listen to detransitioners and what has happened as the culture has gone competely (sic) bonkers confusing sex and gender."

     This one does make it sound like there is a 'trans agenda' 'converting' children, being overall harmful, etc. But it seems if 'detransitioners' exist then it should be fine to call out their existence.

     Well, I mean, I know this is controversial. I am unsure if I personally agree or not. *But* I am of the opinion that a woman should be able to hold this opinion about women sports.

     This on the whole seems reasonable to me as well. Again, if I'm missing something, please do call it out!

     She calls this kind of confusion 'sex denialism', which isn't a term I had heard before and can be seen as inflammatory, but otherwise seems reasonable as a concept.

     The person in question is a cis woman. Summarizing her captured assertions (I saw screenshots elsewhere), I could paraphrase them as:

     - There are two sexes, there are many genders.

     Of course this leaves aside intersex individuals, which is problematic, but the gist of it seems roughly correct to me. Am I missing something about this one?

     I've been reading more about the Fediforum cancellation and I just don't get it.

     I thought it had been cancelled because one of the organizers had made some horrible transphobic remarks. But, on reading them, I'm surprised by how mild they are (of course I *am* a cis man, but I thought I was reasonably well informed about what was transphobic and what wasn't).

     Am I just completely clueless about what kind of assertion is seen as hate?
