@p@bajax@fluffy@stelo 4chan was a limited hangout and psyops well. It wasn't always like that. I remember before gamergate (I know) when people would occasionally post real breaking things there because it was "anonymous" and because it has a fun culture. Like all things online, once the pioneer culture was replaced by newcomers it became less of what made it appealing to begin with. But the psyops... wew that was rough.
Yeah, I moved to 711chan some time in (I think) 07 or 08, so I didn't see The Fall.

I remember when /pol/ wasn't just screeching and wojaks. It wasn't very interesting to me then, either, though, and /g/ was just about rice. I hung out on /b/ until I hopped to :7eleven:.
@ins0mniak@bajax@fluffy@stelo Yeah, word on the street is that it was Steve Bannon for the first few posts and then someone from the State Department for the bulk of them, then eventually the lunatics took over.
@BowsacNoodle@p@bajax@fluffy@stelo The last real breaking news post I remember was epstein being "found dead in his cell" hours before the msm did any TV spots
@ins0mniak@bajax@fluffy@stelo The "Trust the Plan" guys recycled the plot of Face/Off, they were hammering fedi with this weird story that Trump and Biden had switched faces surgically "so when Biden is sworn in, it will actually be Trump getting sworn in, and when Trump is indicted and sent to prison, it will actually be Biden getting sent to prison!"
@p@bajax@fluffy@stelo My favorite was the one where they were saying DC was abandoned. I remeber some lunatic telling me that as I was literally eating a sandwich in front of the White House.
I sent him a picture and got called a deep state operative.
It takes a lot to floor me online at this point but that kind of shit really left me speechless.
