     @DemonSixOne @flux_the_cat But I guess it's my own fault, I can only blame external factors so much, there were so many times I could've secured a better future but didn't. I guess in the end it doesn't really matter, it just is what it is

     I'm nostalgic for the 2000s not because I was young and everything felt new, and I'm just looking back with rose tinted glasses, but because there was hope.

     @PraxisOfEvil @DemonSixOne some were able to make it. i admit that as a millennial who is simultaneously a homeowner, in a successful marriage, and who has a reasonably well paying and fulfilling career that i am in the minority, but i am painfully aware of how badly my generation got screwed. it makes me sad to see my people so downtrodden.
