It's honestly blowing me away how well the actor playing the cyclops moves around the set, because I assume he truly can't see anything with that make-up covering his eyes? He's doing a great job!

@diazona @nev @hollie IIRC he could see through the mask via carefully concealed areas. You can almost see them if you look closely below and to the sides of the eye.
Think one-way glass, but with fine netting concealed with FX prosthetics.

@nev @hollie I guess, but doesn't his mouth move when he talks? So I would have thought the mouth aligns with his actual mouth

@diazona Yes! Yeah he's way more expressive than I'd think possible when half his face is covered and he can't see what he's doing or who he's emoting toward.
