   I wonder if it pissed off anybody from the Voyager cast when Ethan Phillips took a role on Enterprise. I've heard stories about how when they were still trying to film the VOY series finale that they were tearing down sets and starting work on building the Enterprise sets already before the actors were even finished. Some of them felt some kind of way about this.

     @mitchconner well i think it's because they didn't have replicator yet. Like the tng comm badges were gold but they were replicators right? So it had no value but I remember a ds9 episode where they kind of said latinum had value because they couldn't jusrlt create it

     Kind of sad that the writers of this episode didn't realize that the Ferengi don't actually value gold they simply use it as a container for latinum
