@wesley it is a big number, but then I look at I 20 and 285 on the east side. There is money to burn on some things

@DecaturNature @wesley the GDOT employees are paid out of the gas tax and the really big bridges are usually a lump grant from the feds.

@wesley @ATLeagle If I'm reading this budget document correctly, Atlanta DOT spends only $50 million a year and half of that is for street lighting. Maybe the counties/state handle some/most of the streets?
