     @raccoon@hollow.raccoon.quest you are wrong in saying that, yes. because sports are a lot more complicated than single metrics, and elite athletes are - shockingly - not average people.
     
     the purpose of gender segregation in sports is not to protect women, it is to protect men from having to suffer the emotional suffering of losing to a woman. and in sports where physical characteristics like that do matter, like wrestling for example, we already have a solution for that; which is things like weight classes. take the physical characteristic that actually matters and divide people based upon that! easy.

     Biologically speaking, am I wrong in saying that, onnaverage, cis men have a higher max strength potential than cis women?
     Like sure, I'm not strong and there's women who workout who could carry me like a shopping bag and beat me at arm wrestling any day, but again, speaking of average here.
