I think it's most important that we achieve more equitable trade parity with Europe and China if we are to wage this massive trade war. The trade situation with Cambodia was not of particular concern to me, but then again I'm not clued into all of the nuances of international trade. Maybe the administration wants to make sure China can't use them as a proxy to skirt the new tariffs. -

@Hoss @GoodBoyUV EU is the second largest consumer market, China is the third, they are facing tariffs of 20% and 50% respectively. Europe doesn't like China's flooding the markets with cheap junk nor their stance on Russia but there's the possibility they could work together to skirt Trump, they already are reopening negotiations on Chinese EVs. Then again it could drive a bigger wedge between the two and totally fuck global supply chains, we'll see I guess
