@liaizon I wrote a pleroma MRF to block them and it seems to be working perfectly. We went from daily to zero. Luckily the spammer isn't as smart as nostr spammers -

@liaizon I don't think so. MRFs are also written in Elixir and directly interface with the software so they are completely non-portable.
Equivalent doesn't seem to exist anywhere else. Mitra has added some filtering capabilities but its' rule-based rather than gives you complete access to the system.
I heard Silverpill say he was interested in adding complex filtering using WASM at some point. -

@sun does any other fedi software other then Pleroma and its forks support MRFs?

WASM MRFs were implemented in @kitsune (PR).
I am still not sure if this is necessary, the rule based system works well enough and can be easily extended when new threats emerge. Recently I added keyword filter to it and that fixed the Nicole problem.>Luckily the spammer isn't as smart as nostr spammers
