   @HebrideanHecate I understand how it happens, but I hate that the women are so complicit in perpetuating this stuff. It was the same with foot binding in China.

     @Flick @HebrideanHecate It's a perpetuation of a horror. The reasoning is that if it happened to them, then they have to do it to every other woman, because otherwise it means that their bodies were mutilated for nothing.
