Like they built it with axes, almost. Naturally, after going inside, the style inspired me to man-up and out-Orthodox everybody in the room. But I got there early and the service was like 3.5 hours long; I got my ass kicked in this regard by a bunch of little old grandmas in babushkas and sun-hats. I knew I’d found Home.

Big burly dudes but they spend a lot of time on the stadia in the back. In Orthodoxy you just kind of know when *not* to sit - it’s acceptable most of the time during Liturgy.

My knees got fucked from all the times id wrench them from slipping and falling or from years of walking everywhere and having warehouse jobs where I'm walking around all day or being a line cook and having to dart around and being on my feet 😏 there were a lot of years I didn't have a vehicle either and would have to walk miles upon miles every day. They get worn out over the years
