     @cowanon @jb it has, its awful. Its a total joke.
     
     I mean any smart kid will probably be mostly ok if the have the drive to see it for what tis and learn on their own but some people need an extra push.
     
     They also pretty much just graduate people now weather they can even read or not because they want all the federal funding and such that comes with catering to unions and the DOE

     Wasn't the USA #1 in education worldwide then dropped to like 40th place after the DoE got established?

     @cowanon @jb Yeah. After the Soviets launched Sputnik the government freaked out and really really put some rigor into education so we were kicking ass. Jimmy Carter created the DOE to appeal to the unions and shit has been going downhill ever since.
