I watched an Uber driver sit in a park for 15 minutes, I told the guy I was with "I guarantee this dude is smoking weed". Sure enough, the Uber finally rolls up and the car reeks of marijuana.

     @adiz oh exactly man, like all their drivers are from countries no one has even heard of. They do the stupidest shit. Like they'll miss a turn and then like get on the freeway instead of just turning around.
     
     My favorite is when they confirm a ride and then sit somewhere for 20 minutes doing god knows what.
     
     Taxis have their own issues....but I'm starting to really miss taxies. At least the psychotic arab guy knows how to get to the fucking mall

     That's why they're food delivery drivers. Because, they legitimately couldn't hack it anywhere else. Ride-share is getting just as bad. Multiple times last week I had ride-share drivers who spoke 0 English (in the USA) and were confused on where exactly to go/what to do and couldn't understand me trying to explain. One of them was taking me to the airport, missed the exit like twice, didn't understand "departures" (as I'm leaning forward from the back seat pointing out the windscreen to the big "departures" sign overhanging multiple lanes), and nearly drove out through the departures ramp and to exit the airport for the freeway again before I got him to stop so I could get out and walk back up the street to the departures ramp. Ridiculous!

     @ins0mniak Living out of hotels, I know this pain. You put the room number and write down specific instructions to deliver it to the door……and they'll drop it in the lobby (and forget your drink and won't include utensils). I wish you could tip drivers after the delivery. I'm contemplating just stopping tipping in these apps altogether because (a) I can't tip based on the actual service, but rather up front + (b) all the drivers are total pieces of shit.
