     Thanks! I never meant to leave really, just got caught up in a lot of life stuff but it's all calmed down for the most part. Hope to shitpost here more regularly and come up with some new and fun gimmicks too! :D

     I miss my home I miss that KFCC was as close to web 1.0 as I will ever get. I am tempted to run my own instance but I don't have time to mess around with it and I feel like anyone who would be a part of it deserves to have someone with more time and more knowledge of the software than myself. Sure I could read and study to figure it out but I just want to have fun and laugh at retards on the internet.

     Definitely agree also, I think it's interesting that most people wanting complete freedom of speech and anonymity (kf cc is not exclusive in this) when given that freedom tend to primarily post stuff like "gm :D" and chill.
     
     Some instances are an exception but those usually have a more well-defined ethos which I think contributes to their way of thinking.
     
     For me at the very least, wanting to be left alone online isn't just about being allowed to say gamer words or even to commit any crimes. It's also about the comfy feeling that if you *do* post a "controversial" opinion that no one really gives a fuck if it's "controversial".
     
     When you finally get a platform that provides freedom-of-speech, anonymity and doesn't sell off your data, you're just kinda happy that it exists.
     
     It's no exaggeration to say that the people I speak to on this racist/sexist/etc micro-blogging network are FAR kinder people than those I've spoken to on twitter, discord etc.

     @D00B @D00B @D00B @Kirino @Kirino Something these 3 had in common is that they didn't stay in the server for long, they moved and actually were in other servers for longer than they were on kf cc. The native people of kf cc who stayed there to the end were fine people who loved their dogs.

     Mhm! A nice coincidence to be honest (well, as nice as it can be).
     
     I kind of see it like: I came home from vacation only to discover my house was in the process of being demolished, but the landlord gave me the thumbs up to get my cat and stuff before the wrecking crew tore it down. So that's nice! :D
     
     Though I will miss seal.cafe, after kf.cc it was probably the comfiest instance to me and everyone on there was genuinely just vibing and mainly sticking to themselves. I like that in a community :D
