   According to @crunklord420, Fedi instances can't be hardened against attacks the same way the Farms was, hence why kf.cc was never revived.

   Genuinely amazing just how much infrastructure and resources he's put in to keep his website online -- at great personal expense. Josh can be kind of retarded and definitely has a bit of a sketch past but I can't help but respect the dude's grind. One of his best streams was "Internet Juche" where he goes over a lot of the work he did.
   
   Also his streams during #DropKiwiFarms where he talks about all the safeguards he put in place to keep the site operational -- even getting his hands dirty with KiwiFlare.
   
   As a side note on the fan overlap, kf.cc was even further disconnected from the site than MATI I think. I might be one of like 10 people who uses the Farms, Fedi, watches his streams, took part in some watch parties and posted on 9chan when he owned it.

   @waifu @i @djsumdog @mischievoustomato I followed Sterence and noided and maybe even grumbulon I think. Sterence's rodentia posting is unforgettable. I've just forgot a lot of the details when I took a year-long break in 2022. And when I wanted to return, kf.cc was already dead.

   @mischievoustomato @i @djsumdog @waifu sleepy.cafe was where sterence and maybe grumbulon where (memory's rusty on this). noided was also in the same group, but he never moved away from kf.cc iirc. Somewhere in 2022 was turned into a bsky thing and now it returns the default nginx page.

   Mhm! A nice coincidence to be honest (well, as nice as it can be).
   
   I kind of see it like: I came home from vacation only to discover my house was in the process of being demolished, but the landlord gave me the thumbs up to get my cat and stuff before the wrecking crew tore it down. So that's nice! :D
   
   Though I will miss seal.cafe, after kf.cc it was probably the comfiest instance to me and everyone on there was genuinely just vibing and mainly sticking to themselves. I like that in a community :D
