     Bush Jr. did this as well with his creative disregard for free speech and the creation of free speech zones.

     What I believe or not is irrelevant as it is this question.

     There has never been such a thing as a n "international law". There has been the US imposing its power and doing whatever it wants.

     The only difference is now they do it in the open.

     Oh yeah, sure.
     I remember when the international law stopped the US from invading Irak on false premises.

     Or when that same law stopped them from toppling governments abroad to put friendy regimes in charge, like Pinochet.

     Such a marvelous thing, the international law.
