      That is insane.

      It really takes a concerted effort of eating way too much food for years at it seems that the fattiest will eat all the food and leave nothing for anyone else.

      @lispi314 @s Pollution of food that causes improper metabolization can cause things like fatty organ disease etc (which can lead to the same health issues as being obese), but you will not become obese unless you make a concerted effort to eat way too much food for months or years.

      @Suiseiseki @s Or considerable pollution or food quality/contamination problems leading to improper metabolization and digestion processes.

      Considering the deregulation of USA food industry that is happening and will get worse, that's not going to get better.

      Half the world though? Typical USA thinking it represents the rest of the world. That problem will just remain a USA problem.
