     Boot from a Windows 98 CD with the CDROM enabled options

     Type fdisk and create the partitions

     Set the partition active

     Type C:

     Type format C: /u /s

     Mkdir Win98

     Copy D:\Win98\*.* c:\Win98

     CD win98

     Setup

     Follow the instructions and you are all set.

     @HopelessDemigod thanks! I used Win98 QuickInstall to get it installed in KVM/Qemu, but I could not get it to work in a non-safe-mode way. maybe I try again tonight!
