You don't try to catch a falling knife, you watch the carnage from the sidelines and wait until it's been crabbing for weeks at whatever miserable price support it finally found and all the hodlbros want to kill themselves. That's the buy signal.

If it drops further after you entered at what looked like the bottom, DCA with some more cash. Cost averaging isn't always a meme, it's crypto and meme stock bros who gave it that reputation from their habit of buying all the way down after the chart hits ATH.
