@anonaccount @sickburnbro I started taking huge figure doses of vitamin D whenever I feel like I'm coming down with something and my recovery time drops and severity of symptoms is seriously better. Sometimes I don't even get sick despite feeling the onset coming. I started this during COVID and I now swear by it. -

@BowsacNoodle @sickburnbro I have a variety of immuno-related diseases (asthma, chronic rhinosinusitis, etc.), and Vitamin D supplementation (< 2000 IU per day) both smoothes their symptoms and increases the bodily energy that used to be wasted on net in taking care of them. Of course, it requires, to be effective, more than simple supplementation (exercise first). -

@anonaccount @sickburnbro As long as you take your vitamins D with fat you're in decent shape The little capsules don't have enough oil in them IMO -

@milk @reallyangry @anonaccount @sickburnbro Yes. There's little risk to taking too much vitamin D. You can OD on it if you go crazy, but most of us are so deficient it would be hard accidentally do. I take a 10k or whatever it is capsule, and I'll take two of them instead of the recommended one. -
