     They fumbled it so bad. Modern games are like 'Hmm, what if I added clutter?' even when it makes no sense. Boletaria was SUPPOSED to still be clean and fairly intact.
     
     I'm always reminded of that large area outside the first bonfire in Anor Londo, either side of the two large halls with giants in. The square outside is completely empty, if it was made today by any other company but fromsoft they'd scatter a bunch of shit around for no reason.
     
     FromSoft feel like the only world design people who are happy not to clutter everything constantly. Maybe felt, since DS3 and Bloodborne were cluttered as fuck too.
