@TriptychTwinsRidesAgain @Haleakalacrater Same, loathsome trash, allowing perverts to predate on people is not the mark of a normal society.

@HebrideanHecate @Haleakalacrater @TriptychTwinsRidesAgain Seems like we've been on the decline for a long time now without realising it. Society has been captured. KeepTakingTheSoma likes this. -

@sim @Haleakalacrater @HebrideanHecate @TriptychTwinsRidesAgain The 14th amendment with its removal of freedom of association is a p good place to start, its not the full reason though. -

@dcc @Haleakalacrater @HebrideanHecate @TriptychTwinsRidesAgain What do you think happened in the 60's? I'm always curious when and why people think we have been declining from. I think there is something in this. I think the grooming/rape gangs are a good indicator for this decline. -

@sim @Haleakalacrater @HebrideanHecate @TriptychTwinsRidesAgain Thats the civil rights one, where they removed freedom of association to let "black" people become citizens. -

@dcc @Haleakalacrater @HebrideanHecate @TriptychTwinsRidesAgain I'm not too familiar with that one. But removing freedom of association doesn't sound good. You know it only goes one way too. -

@sim @HebrideanHecate @Haleakalacrater @TriptychTwinsRidesAgain It's because we live in a hot take age. People were sold *trans* as the new civil rights, so they bought the goods from the 30 second advert and didn't look too closely because of the feel-good vibes.
Now they realise it has some bugs in the system, it's harder to back track because they have to acknowledge they've been sold a dud, especially if they went out to bat on its behalf.
Logic would have told them this would be an outcome, but most people outsource their thinking to politicians, pundits and *experts* because it's easier. -

@sim @HebrideanHecate @Haleakalacrater @TriptychTwinsRidesAgain Our politicians like money.
Most have sold their souls, their ideals and their country in return for money and status.
