     @lispi314@udongein.xyz yeah they're basically replacing a desert with something that is environmentally even more of a desert, but it ALSO draws huge amounts of resources from the surrounding, already resource-poor, desert

     @tk@bbs.kawa-kun.com they came up irl a couple months ago and all of us remembered the books but we all remembered different stories
