@mint they all felt wounded by me pointing out that they all crawled out of the woodwork after jew-hohol hybrid got humiliated by cheetos-amerimutt golem mutant in the white house
@ubernigga@Cyrillic i think everyone who could post anything on fediblock has already blocked all of us and null routed us and shit and we cant see their posts at all
@Cyrillic@lina I don't think Fediblock has been a real thing for a few years, the oldfags just bitch about it BC they don't have real problems and don't like change.
@ubernigga@lina but have mastotroons stopped importing defederation lists? if not it's the same thing under a different name. and I'm not sure if anyone considers it a problem, I wouldn't want to talk to such people anyway. and I caught a block from someone random when I posted scat porn to the hashtag so presumably some people do still look at it.
@Cyrillic@lina I think it's more decentralized now. People make a call out post and whichever troons happen to see it block, have their tantrum for a few hours, then forget about it, as opposed to making one big list.
@ubernigga@lina@Cyrillic Lets instance admins differentiate from where the request is coming. If instance A fetches a post from instance B but doesn't sign it with its own key or is blocked on instance B, the request is discarded, meaning users on instance A won't be able to see it despite the fact it was posted in public scope and could be viewed in browser from other instances. So it breaks federation while offering nothing but a drop of peace of mind for neurotic troons. But if you think instance A can pretend to be instance C to circumvent it, you'd be right; so it's not even secure in any way.
@Cyrillic@lina@mint If I had to guess it only pulls in posts that can be proven authentic, somehow. There's been a bunch of dev drama from troons in the past about it, BC I guess they think admins are faking posts for money or something, Idk.
