- **Galatians 3:7-9**: "Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham. - Jesus taught that being a true child of Abraham is not about physical descent but about doing the works of Abraham—namely, having faith in God.
- **Romans 9:6-8**: "For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel. Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary, 'It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.' In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring."
- Paul explicitly states that **God’s children are not determined by physical descent**, but by being part of the promise through faith. -

I am not sure how it works. But, God expresses a great deal of care for animals throughout the Bible. And, there are a great many pets in Heaven.

Rapture theology aside, my only response to such joy at the thought of hearing the trumpets is Amos 5:18-2018 Alas for you who desire the day of the Lord! Why do you want the day of the Lord? It is darkness, not light; 19 as if someone fled from a lion, and was met by a bear; or went into the house and rested a hand against the wall, and was bitten by a snake. 20 Is not the day of the Lord darkness, not light, and gloom with no brightness in it?

Hell? What does missing the first rapture have to do with hell? It just means living longer on the Earth. A lot of Christians will be staying. How else will the righteous rule the Earth after Satan is put away at the end of the tribulation.
Some people just want to hold onto the Earth more than others.
And, there isn't anyone going in the rapture who isn't looking forward to it. -
